Once admitted to a program, there is a two-step enrollment process. First, the student reviews and acknowledges our Essential Eligibility Criteria. Parents select their tuition tier during this step in the enrollment process. It is offered based on the honor system. Tuition includes all accommodations, meals, activities, curriculum and instruction, local transportation excluding airport transfers , pre-program materials and support, gratuities, and contributions to service projects. You must be at least 15 years of age and no more than 18 years of age on the program start date to participate. We are able to accept students from any location worldwide, although if you are applying from outside the United States there may be special visa and insurance requirements as part of your participation.

Developing Lifelong Skills Challenge-based learning is a collaborative learning experience in which educators and students work together to learn about compelling issues, propose solutions to real problems, and take action.
Tuition We use a tiered tuition model that leads to more socioeconomic diversity in our cohorts. How It Works. What's Included? Is This For Me? Accommodations in either single, double, or triple rooms in Russell Sage residence hall, located just steps from the Dartmouth Green, the dining hall, and other centers of campus life. Meals Students will be provided with a full meal plan through Dartmouth's dining services. Activities Activities, from the adventurous to the cultural, are a regular part of the program.
Dynamic Learning Opportunities Place-based. Students are encouraged to select courses that will keep them on track to graduation. Employers see students who have studied abroad as self-motivated, independent, willing to take on challenges, and able to cope with a variety of problems and situations.

Take a virtual tour of the UMass Dartmouth campus. Exchange students are given access to the full range of services normally available to foreign students regularly enrolled at the host institution. These include adequate orientation, an appointed qualified academic advisor, and access to library, computer, and recreational facilities. Orientation sessions both at their home institutions, and upon arrival at the host institution, cover academic expectations, administrative and logistical details, health and safety issues, and cultural awareness.
The host institution typically assumes responsibility for facilitating housing, generally in an on-campus residential dormitory or in a nearby apartment, but the student is responsible for the housing costs. Participating students pay normal tuition to their home institution. Neither institution charges their exchange students for any tuition or application fees, but fees at the host institution may apply for administrative, housing, or student services related fees.
Room, board, travel and insurance are the financial responsibility of the exchange student. As an official Dartmouth exchange program, any pre-existing scholarship aid continues during the exchange. Financial aid is available for official exchange programs arranged through the College.
Students receive no more scholarship assistance than they would have received for a term at Dartmouth. Any extra costs associated with the program will be covered by additional loan assistance.
